Check out the plaid potholders all made in the hoop of your embroidery machine! No sewing!! Really quick and easy to make. The first potholder design is made with one thread color to make the plaid and the second potholder has a stop after the horizontal plaid stitching so you can change to a different thread color for the vertical plaid stitching!
These potholders are made in an 8″ x 8″ (200mm x 200mm) machine embroidery hoop and finish at about 7 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ (184mm x 184mm) for a nice size potholder.

The ribbon or loop is optional. I used 1/2 inch grosgrain ribbon for my loops as it wears pretty well.
There is no sewing as you turn the potholder right side out through the back that is in two sections. Makes it very nice not to do any hand stitching to close an opening. I never get those to look quite right!
Here’s the link if you’d like to get this set of potholder designs to stitch on your embroidery machine.
